Terry Fox Sports Complex

Did you know that the Terry Fox Sports Complex not only provides a full array of summer facilities but the staff work hard to ensure great winter facilities are available for you to get out and enjoy?

You can start the day with your families skiing on the groomed trails, or taking a trek through the snow on your snowshoes. There is a great toboggan hill in which your children can get hours of fun or top off the day with an evening skate or a game of pick up hockey at either of our outdoor rinks.

This facility is weather dependent so please check out our website or Facebook page to ensure the facility is open.

Check out our beautiful facility which includes a clubhouse, walking trails, beach volleyball court, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, football and soccer turfs as well as two ball fields!

Staying active and having fun benefits everyone’s health and well-being, so the Recreation Department is on top of what’s happening in the community.

How to Register

ONLINE: Click here to register. It’s fast, easy and convenient.

CALL: Town office at 628-6260, Ext. 221. All participants must pre-register.

IN PERSON: Stop by the Parks and Recreation Department located at 15 Mercedes Drive between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30 p.m. Summer hours: 8:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Payments for all programs will only be accepted at the Town Office during business hours. You can call to register and pay with your credit card over the phone.

Cancellations & Changes

We do our best to ensure all programs are implemented exactly as outlined but sometimes the program date, time, location or fee may change. Programs are subject to cancellation due to insufficient registration. If this occurs, a full refund will be issued.

The Town of Cornwall Parks and Recreation Department requires two (2) week written notice when ending all childcare programs. Please note: minimum and a maximum number of participants are required for each program to proceed.

Refunds

REFUNDS/ WITHDRAWS

Prior to the program start date: Withdrawals may be made up to 3 days before a program starts and a full refund will be provided.
On or after program start, prior to second class: Requests received on or after the start date of the program, regardless of class start time, will be pro-rated as of the date of notification and cannot be backdated. Withdrawal/Refund requests may be made no later than one business day prior to the second class. A pro-rated credit for the remaining classes can be left on your account for future program registration use. Refund requests will be pro-rated, as of date of notification and subject to a service fee of $10.00.
After the second class of the program: Requests made after the second class of the program, will be processed for medical reasons ONLY for the remaining classes of the program and must be accompanied by a doctor’s note.

Requests will be processed as of the date of notification and cannot be backdated. Medical requests are not subject to a service charge.

Birthday Parties

Make it a memorable celebration with one of the Town’s fun party packages, suitable for kids of all ages. Let our staff take care of all the planning…parents bring the cake, ice cream & treat bags! Our staff will do the rest including the cleanup. Packages include 2 pieces of pizza and 1 drink per child. Extra fee of $7.50 per each additional child based on staff availability.

Call 902-628-6260 to book your party to remember. Payment is due at the time of booking.

NOTE: More than 12 children will require an extra staff, therefore cost will increase by $ 50.00

What if I need to cancel? More than one week before the party date, a full refund less a $10 administration fee. Within one week of the party, no refund. Latest Booking on Sunday is 6:00pm.

PRINCESS PACKAGE

$160/10 children…. Get dolled up for a magical party! Dancing, crown making, pampering & games.

SUPERHERO PACKAGE

$160/10 children Games & activities will include your favorite superhero’s……. Come dressed up!!

BIRTHDAY FUN PACKAGE (Ages 3 – 6yrs)

$160/10 children Join us as we play parachute games, musical chairs, freeze dance and many of your child’s favorite games.

SPORTS GALORE PACKAGE

$160/10 children……. This action – packed party takes place at the Terry Fox Complex. Your child will get to pick from a variety of sports for an hour & then back to the clubhouse for food, cake & presents.

CRAFTS & GAMES PACKAGE

$160/10 children……Does your child enjoy using their creativity? The children will enjoy making a craft then participating in a variety of planned games.

PARTY IN THE KITCHEN PACKAGE

$160/10 children…. Little Chefs will make their own little treats while learning to cook. The day will begin with each child making their very own cupcake. Once they go in the oven, then they make their own personalized pizza. The children will also take part in a variety of related games and activities.
