Dogs & Dog Park

Responsible pet ownership helps keep our parks and neighbourhoods safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Pet owners are reminded to keep their dogs under control at all times, avoid allowing them to roam on neighbouring properties, and always clean up after their pets.

Residents are encouraged to use the Town’s off-leash dog park located by Town Hall on Mercedes Drive. The park is open year-round from dawn to dusk and provides a safe space for dogs to exercise and socialize.

Dogs using the park must be registered with the Town, have up-to-date vaccinations, remain on leash when entering and exiting the area, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Dog waste bags are available on-site.
