Lifeguard Academy

June 26 – July 3, 2026

New this summer, the Town in partnership with Lifesaving Society PEI will be offering our first Lifeguard Academy from June 26 – July 3, 2026. This program is for experienced swimmers aged 13 + and will be a great way for your teen to kick off their summer.

Participants will complete their Lifesaving Society Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, and Standard First Aid certifications. These courses allow successful candidates to work in PEI as an Assistant Lifeguard and
provides them with all the necessary prerequisites to register for the Society’s National Lifeguard course.
